Ms. Clyde has been a teacher with Deer Valley Unified School District since 2003. She has been a sixth grade teacher, an eighth grade teacher, and an instructional coach. Ms. Clyde has a degree and Master's degree in Opera Performance and then received her Post-Baccalaureate in Education.  She is certified to teach elementary, middle school Social Studies, Math, ELA and High School History. 

Ms. Clyde sings and plays the piano.  She also loves to read and exercise (weightlifting and a cardio class called POUND.) Ms. Clyde has two children.  Thaib is 23, he recently graduated from Ithaca College and is awaiting Med School.  He currently lives in Pittsburgh, PA. Nyla is 5 years old, loves gymnastics and dance.  She has a vivid imagination and will be starting Kindergarten at Legend Springs this year.  Her boyfriend, Francis, is a business analyst for United Health Care, and loves tinkering with computers and cars. Ms. Clyde also has two dogs. A chi-pap named Peanut Buttercup and a jack-chi named Sour Patch Kid.
