I have been teaching in the Deer Valley Unified School District for 31 years.  I have taught kindergarten for 25 years. This is currently my 5th year as a Reading Specialist.  I have a Bachelor's in Telecommunication from Northern Arizona University.   I earned my teaching certificate from Ottawa University.  In 2004 I received my Masters in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. I also have endorsements as a Reading Specialist, Early Childhood, Gifted Endorsement and SEI.  I enjoy getting to know each student and watching them learn and grow!

I have been happily married to Mark for 37 years and have three children and ten grandchildren. I love being a "Nana" and I cherish every minute with my loved ones! As a family we enjoy camping, hiking, jeeping, fishing and cooking. I love to try new recipes and Mark and I often like to do some old fashioned canning! I collect antiques and I love to do jigsaw puzzles and Jazzercise! Thank you for letting me be a part of your childs' life. Welcome to the Legend Springs Family!!
