Mrs. Tammy Hartsock

My name is Mrs. Tammy and I have been teaching in the Deer Valley Unified School District for 30 years. I taught Kindergarten Enrichment for 13 years and have been in Pre-K for 17 years. I enjoy teaching Pre-K because the children are so eager to learn and are open to new experiences. I love to lend my artistic talents to the classroom. 

I was raised in Iowa and moved to Arizona over 33 years ago. I am married to my wonderful husband, Shawn, and we have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Cejay is our oldest and he and his wife Kristina have 3 children; a son Jayce, 10 years old, and daughter Kyleigh, 8 years old. Our middle child, Kelsey, is 33 years old and lives here in Arizona with her husband Ryan and they have 2 children; Nixon, 5 years old, and Brooklyn, 3 years old. Our youngest is Ryan, 30, who worked here at Legend Springs for a couple years in the before and after program and was a student favorite. I'm looking forward to a great year here in Pre-K!
