Welcome to Pre-K - I am Mrs. Stephanie and I am so excited to be starting my first year at Legend Springs!

I am a third-generation Arizonan and grew up in Laveen, but have lived all over the Valley. When my family moved to Laveen, 51st Avenue and Baseline was a 4-way stop on a dirt road – it’s amazing to see how much has changed over the years! My family and I love the Arrowhead area and participating in the amazing community we have.

I attended Metro Arts High School here in Phoenix, focusing on photography and sculpture, before attending University of Arizona to study Studio Art. Prior to Legend Springs, I was a respite care provider for the last two years for an amazing 4-year-old boy. I absolutely love reading (Julia Donaldson and Little Critter are my favorites!), doing crafts, and finding any fun activities I can to keep kids happy and entertained.

I have two daughters going into 5th grade and 1st grade at Legend Springs this year. Growing up on a farm, it’s no surprise that we also have a zoo at home – 4 dogs, 4 cats, 2 cockatiels, a bearded dragon, a tree frog, and two fish tanks!

Outside of school, I enjoy hosting events at our local park and running a “free” page for our neighborhood to share items with one another. I love bringing a sense of community to Arrowhead, and love being able to put a smile on kids’ faces with activities like Easter egg hunts, Santa at the park, and our famous ladybug release.
