Welcome to Kindergarten at Legend Springs!

I’m excited to begin my seventh year as a Legend Springs Leopard and my 17th year of teaching! Throughout my career, I’ve had the joy of teaching primary grades (K–2), which continue to be my passion. I earned both my Bachelor's (2003) and Master's (2005) degrees in Education from Northern Arizona University, and I hold additional endorsements in Reading, Early Childhood, and English Language Learning. I’m looking forward to a wonderful year of learning and growth, and I can’t wait to partner with you and your child throughout the school year.

I’m proud to be an Arizona native and love being part of this wonderful community. My husband and I met while attending Northern Arizona University, and now we’re raising two amazing kids—our son is a student at Mountain Ridge High School, and our daughter attends Hillcrest Middle School.  Outside of the classroom, my time is often spent cheering on my kids in their activities, walking our dog, golfing, and traveling as a family. I’m excited to begin another great year in kindergarten here at Legend Springs!
