Hello,

I'm Shellie, and along with Mrs. Perry, I am thrilled to work with your marvelous students at Legend Springs! I am truly committed to providing help and support alongside, encouragement and celebration of your children as they go forth in their EL learning journey!

A little about my background: I recently joined the EL Department in 2025, working at Terramar Academy of the Arts. Prior to that, I worked in Special Education within the Peoria Unified School District for over 13 years as a Transition Specialist. My priority in this role was to help students gain self-sufficiency and transition from High School to post High School by  formulating a plan of action for either furthering their education or finding employment.

A little about me: I am a Mom/Grandma, who resides with two ornery, Senior kitties. I have two grown daughters who are happy and thriving and three grandaughters who absolutely have a hold on my heart! I love to spend precious time with family and friends, enjoy being in nature, go for walks, go on road trips, read, watch movies and thanks to my daughters, I am currently dabbling in gardening.
