Mr. Paul Stanton

Dr. Paul Stanton is the proud Dean of two schools: Las Brisas and Legend Springs Elementary Schools.

Dr. Stanton has been in education for over two decades beginning his career in the Deer Valley Unified School District as a teacher, assistant principal and principal. He then worked in the Liberty School District as an Assistant Superintendent and in the Humboldt Unified and Washington Elementary School Districts as Superintendent. Dr. Stanton recently retired as a Superintendent, but wants to continue to give back to the community. Dr. Stanton will focus his time on getting to know each student, staff member and family in the community.

Dr. Stanton has worked in low and high SES schools, focusing on meeting the needs of each child.

Dr. Stanton has two grown daughters who attended elementary, middle and high schools in the Deer Valley Unified School District. He enjoyed watching them perform in plays, concerts, competing in sports and enjoying their educational experience.

When Dr. Stanton is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Lori, listening to live music and filling food boxes for those less fortunate. He also enjoys running, listening to podcasts and finding quiet times to reflect.

Dr. Stanton is excited to get to know you, celebrate with you, laugh with you and have a great year together.
