Mr. Jarrod Neckels

Hello, and welcome to Legend Springs Elementary! I am honored to serve as your principal.

Over the course of my 26 years in education, I have had the opportunity to teach multiple grade levels, serve as a behavior specialist, and most recently as an assistant principal. These experiences have shaped my belief that every child deserves a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Education from Rocky Mountain College in Montana, and my Master's degree in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University.

My wife, Kelly, and I have been married for 20 years. She also works in education as an Assistant Director of Interdisciplinary Literacy. Together, we are the proud parents of six amazing children and grandparents to three awesome grandchildren. Our two dogs, Dexter and Hendrix, firmly believe they're in charge of the house...and most days, they're probably right!

When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, going out to try new restaurants, listening to music, and going for daily walks. I also love watching my Montana Grizzlies play football when college football season is here! 

I look forward to partnering with our students, families, staff, and community as we continue to make Legend Springs Elementary a place where every student feels valued, challenged, and inspired to succeed.
